🔍 French-Based Global Energy Company T Internal Data Leaked on Dark Web
• On June 3, internal documents from French energy and gas giant company ‘T’ were allegedly leaked and posted for sale on a Russian dark web forum.
• The threat actor offered to sell the victim company’s internal documents to just five individuals, providing a sample of the leaked data as evidence.
✓ The sample data included names, addresses, and contact information believed to belong to the victim company’s customers, along with information on electricity consumption, usage purposes, and billing.
• The threat actor claims to have also leaked internal data from another French smart energy company and said they will disclose the information soon.
🔍 Prominent Italian Politician’s Emails Compromised and Publicly Shared For Free
• Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini’s emails have allegedly been hacked and leaked, according to a recent online post.
• On May 29, a post on the dark web hacking forum ‘DarkForums’ shared approximately 5GB of emails exchanged by Matteo Salvini for free. The threat actor also distributed more than 10 compressed files through a separate Telegram channel.
✓ The compressed files contained numerous EML-format files, with some emails showing text that included sender and recipient information.
• The targeted Italian Deputy Prime Minister, known for his conservative views, was called a fascist by the threat actor, indicating the attack likely has political motives.
🔍 Italy’s Famous Luxury Brand’s Partner Data Exposed on Dark Web
• A post sharing leaked internal documents of Italy’s famous luxury brand G has been detected.
• On June 1, a post was listed on DarkForums, a dark web hacking forum, sharing information believed to be about G’s partner companies. The threat actor shared a sample Excel file containing information on companies believed to be suppliers, including employee details such as workforce size, female ratio, and foreign worker percentage.
