⚠️ Global Impact of JIR* Software Vulnerability Exposed

• A critical zero-day vulnerability in JIR*, a software essential to global corporations and IT developers, was offered for sale on BreachForums on June 16. 

• The vulnerability, detailed by known threat actor IntelBroker, affects the current version of JIR* and does not require login credentials to be exploited.

• Priced at approximately $1.1 billion, this vulnerability's severity and potential global repercussions are significant.

• It has been disclosed that this vulnerability led to the compromise of data from Company C, a major global real estate investment firm.


⚠️Sensitive Documents from Major U.S. Semiconductor Firm Leaked

• On June 17, the same threat actor, IntelBroker, leaked internal documents from a leading U.S. semiconductor manufacturer, Company A, on BreachForums.

• The leaked data, released in June, contains sensitive details such as upcoming product specifications, and information on employees, customers, assets, and source codes.

• Samples of the data, including employee details and internal document screenshots, indicate the presence of substantial sensitive information.

• The connection between this data leak and the previously mentioned JIRA vulnerability remains unspecified by IntelBroker.


⚠️Ransomware Infection Leads to U.S. Kansas Police Data Breach

• The Kansas Police in the U. S. suffered a significant data breach due to a ransomware attack, compromising sensitive information.

•On June 18, a ransomware group Black Suit threatened to publicly release the data after failed negotiations with the police.

• The exposed data includes comprehensive crime investigation records, personal details of police officers, and firearm discharge information, necessitating enhanced security measures by relevant departments.
