From Detection to Prediction: In the AI Era, Cybersecurity Is Driven by Threat Intelligence
2025.07.21

“Attackers often disguise old leaked data as newly breached information or repeatedly reuse past tactics. That’s why it’s critical to analyze data within its full context.”

In an interview with TechM, Jae-Ki Kim, Head of the Threat Intelligence Center (TALON) at S2W, shared how the company supports cyber threat response across public and private sectors—both in South Korea and internationally—by leveraging advanced intelligence capabilities.

TALON is S2W’s specialized threat intelligence unit that continuously analyzes structured and unstructured data from the dark web, deep web, closed networks, and open sources. Rather than focusing solely on indicators of compromise (IoCs), it delivers strategic, context-rich intelligence that helps organizations understand not only what happened, but also why it happened.

By uncovering the background and intent behind attacks, TALON enables proactive defense through a unique, context-driven methodology. This approach has helped S2W build a strong competitive edge. The company is also expanding its predictive capabilities using accumulated threat data, while enhancing analysis efficiency through AI.

Building on this intelligence infrastructure, S2W continues to strengthen its global presence through collaboration with major enterprises and public sector agencies in Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, and international organizations such as INTERPOL.

With its IPO scheduled for Q3 this year, S2W is poised to accelerate its global expansion.
